For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
Mark 10:45
God created you with gifts that fill an important need in the local church and make an eternal difference in the lives of others. Let us know how you'd like to get involved.
Serve in our church
There are many ways to serve at Cornerstone Church. As a community, we need each other to further the Kingdom of God. He has given you gifts and we have a place for you to exercise and strengthen those gifts. We're so thankful to all of our volunteers who help things run smoothly on Sunday mornings and beyond. The first step to becoming a volunteer is to complete FFL (Foundations For Life), a six week class. You can find information on the next FFL under "Upcoming Events."
Volunteer Opportunities
Connect Desk | Greeter
Organized by our administrator, Kristen Pontious, those in the Connect Desk stay up to date on upcoming events and other information to be able to answer questions. Greeters welcome people as they arrive on Sunday mornings.
Event/Build Team
Throughout the year, there are needs for extra help for events. These include our Loving Hearts Banquet, Worthy is the Lamb (Easter drama), Christmas Banquet, and others. Areas of need depend on the event. Serving includes set up, tear down, building, or fixing structures around the church.
Production Team
The areas of volunteering for production include working with sound, video, screens, and live stream during our Sunday morning services. Another area to serve is photography on Sunday mornings and other events hosted by Cornerstone Church.
C-Kids | Nursery
Do you have a heart for caring for children? To work with C-Kids (ages 3-11) or the nursery (ages 0-3) you can contact our children's director, Sheryl Alexander.
Music Team
If you have a talent in singing or playing an instrument, we'd love to hear from you. Practices are on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings before service. This team is led by worship pastor, Adam Wahl.
Cooking for Events
Everyone loves food! If cooking is something you enjoy, we need people to cook benevolence meals for funerals, meals for families with a new baby, as well as cooking for events and ministries such as church dinners.
